June 15-16, 2017, GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv, the 5th Meeting of the Working Group on Culture and Tourism held with the participation of relevant ministries and agencies, tourism operators of GUAM Member States, the representative of the Embassy of Japan to Ukraine and GUAM Secretariat.
During the meeting, participants provided information on the implementation of the Action Plan for the development of tourism within GUAM-Japan cooperation for 2017-2020, adopted during the 4th Meeting at the level of department heads (GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv, March 29, 2017).
Participants discussed issues related to the preparation for the international tourist exhibition Tourism Expo Japan 2017 and prepared the Roadmap for the preparation for participation in the JATA World Travel Fair exhibition as a joint stand.
The next Meeting of the Working Group will be held in September 2017 in Kyiv.
