On 29 October 2009 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, GUAM National Coordinator Mr. D.Jalagania and GUAM Secretary General Mr. V.Chechelashvili participated in inter-regional Workshop on Regional Security and Confidence-building “Transferring the Experiences of Vishegrad Cooperation to the Western Balkans and the GUAM Countries”, organized by International Centre For Democratic Transition (Budapest, Hungary) in Kyiv, Hotel “President”.
Deputy Minister addressed the Forum on behalf of the Georgian Chairmanship, focused on goals and objectives of GUAM and priorities of Georgian Chairmanship Program.
In his statement Secretary General focused on GUAM contribution to Regional Confidence-building, project implementation process, perspectives on EU-GUAM and Vishegrad-GUAM cooperation in the light of EU Eastern Partnership Program.
