GA UN adopted Resolution “Status of internally displaced persons and refugees from Abkhazia, Georgia and the Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia, Georgia”

On June 5, 2014, General Assembly of the United Nations adopted Resolution “Status of internally displaced persons and refugees from Abkhazia, Georgia, and the Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia, Georgia”. Resolution passed by recorded vote of 69 in favour, 13 against and 79 Abstentions. GUAM member states supported the resolution by unanimous vote.

The representative of the Republic of Moldova, as the Chairman of GUAM, made a Statement on behalf of the Organisation.
