On 23th February 2011 in GUAM Secretariat, Kyiv GUAM countries Music Performance devoted to 14th Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of GUAM took place.
Chamber group of “Kyiv-Classic” symphonic orchestra, one of the best in Ukraine, under the direction of orchestra’s conductor, Honored Art Worker of Ukraine, Doctor of Art Criticism, Professor, Ambassador of Ukrainian culture Maestro G.Makarenko, performed well-known national and authors’ works of GUAM member states. Among others, compositions of Azerbaijanian, Georgian, Moldovan and Ukrainian melodies, compositions of GUAM member states classics Arif Melikov (Melody of ballet “Legend of Love”), Alexi Machavariani (“Doluri”), Evgenu Doga (“Waltz”) and Myroslav Skoryk (“Melody”) were performed.
The representatives of diplomatic community, representatives of MFA, other ministries and institutions of Ukraine, deputies of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine participated in the event.
The reception took place after the concert.
