On 9 April, 2010 the GUAM Secretary General was received by Minister of culture and tourism of Ukraine Mr. M.Kulinjak upon its request.
In the course of the meeting a set of issues on cooperation in the field of culture and tourism were discussed, namely implementation process of common GUAM tourist product, preparation of Ministers meeting, scheduled for June 2010 in Baku. Significance of tourism cooperation was underlined in the lights of upgrading of regions attractiveness and facilitation of investment activities.
The parties also discussed possibilities of GUAM projects implementation in the field of culture namely organization of joint exhibitions, editions and thematic evenings.
The chairman of public service of tourism and resorts of Ministry of culture Mr. A.Pakhlia and Program coordinator of GUAM Secretariat S.Temirov also took part in the meeting.
