29 March 2022, an online meeting on the provision of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine under the Russian invasion was held at the initiative of the GUAM Secretariat. The meeting was attended by representatives of state structures, embassies, diaspora, and NGOs of the GUAM Member States, as well as volunteers.
At the meeting, participants discussed the opportunities of providing humanitarian assistance to Ukraine by the GUAM Member States on a regular basis and using the GUAM as a coordination platform for this process.
In addition, the possibilities of cooperation between the emergency services of the GUAM Member States to assist Ukraine in post-war reconstruction were discussed.
