On April 22, 2014, the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv hosted the Second Meeting of the Working Group on Culture and Tourism, which involved representatives of relevant ministries and agencies from GUAM member states, Embassies of the GUAM member states, and representatives from the GUAM Secretariat.
Participants in the meeting received information presented by member states regarding the latest achievements in the fields of culture and tourism within their own countries. They also discussed issues in relation to determining mechanisms for exchanging information and statistics data, and also discussed the implementation of Working Plan of the Working Group on Culture and Tourism for 2013-2014, which was adopted at the previous meeting of the Working Group. Furthermore, attendees discussed issues pertaining to the development of new projects in the fields of culture and tourism within the GUAM + format.
Participants in the meeting agreed to hold the Third Meeting of the Working Group on Culture and Tourism in the second half of 2014. The venue and place will be agreed upon thorough diplomatic channels.
