9th Meeting of the Working Group on Cyber Security

19-20 December 2019, the 9th Meeting of the Working Group on Cyber Security was held at the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv, chaired by the Ukrainian Party.

The Parties exchanged information on the main cyber threats to national security in 2019 and the expected challenges for 2020. The Ukrainian Party also confirmed its readiness to hold a training seminar for the representatives of the GUAM Member States on countering fake information.

In addition, the Working Group discussed the creation of a specialized cyber security information resource within the GUAM Secretariat website.

The next meeting of the Working Group is scheduled for March 2020.
