On March 27-29, 2012, the external audit of GUAM’s financial activities for the year 2011 took place at the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv with the participation of Mr. N. Alyev, Head of the Financial and Currency Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. T. Kiladze, Deputy Head of the Internal Audit Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Mrs. L. Jandic, Chef of the Internal Audit Department, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Moldova, and Mrs. I. Yarosh, Acting Director of the Department of Finance and Administration and Record Keeping of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The meeting resulted in the signing of the auditor’s report by the representatives of the GUAM member states regarding the results of the financial audit of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM for the year 2011.
Within the framework of the audit, on March 26-30, 2012, financial experts from GUAM member states continued to work on the latest version of the GUAM Financial Rules and Regulations.
