On 23 May 2011 in GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv Meeting of representatives of MFA Departments, responsible for cooperation with international organizations and settlement of conflicts, was held under the Moldovan chairmanship.
Delegations considered a course of fulfillment of agreements on initiation of the Draft Resolution of the UN General Assembly “Cooperation Between the United Nations and the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM”, initiated by Georgia.
Participants of the Meeting exchanged views on a course of GUAM member states’ interaction within the 34th item of the Agenda of the 65th Session of the UN General Assembly “Protracted Conflicts in the GUAM Area and Their Implications for International Peace, Security and Development”.
As an outcome of discussion relevant recommendations were adopted and the Protocol was signed.
Delegations decided to hold its next meeting on October 2011.
