June 18 2019, the Seminar for the experts of the Subgroup on Combating Human Being trafficking and Illegal Migration was held on the premises of the Center for Combating Human Being trafficking and Illegal Migration in Chisinau. The delegation of GUAM comprising law enforcement representatives of the Member States took part in the event accompanied by the Program Coordinator of the GUAM Secretariat.
In the course of the Seminar, its participants shared the experience of the law enforcement bodies of Moldova in the investigation of crimes related to the Human Being trafficking and biological material, discussed the future cooperation in the frame of GUAM. During the seminar, the Delegation also visited the Center for assistance and protection of the victims of Human Being trafficking.
On the outcome of the work, the useful practice of holding of the events at the site was approved and the Subgroup on Combating Human Being trafficking and Illegal Migration was recommended to continue their organization on a regular basis.
