President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko urged the establishment of the National cyber security system, under the coordination and effective interaction provided by the appropriate division of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).
The Cyber Security Strategy of Ukraine, which has been adopted as a whole by the NSDC, collates an utmost amount of expert recommendations from scores of consulting companies and provides for the development of the national cyberspace security system, the timely detection and neutralization of cyber threats, as well as preventive actions consistent with the practices of major NATO and EU member states.
GUAM promotes international cooperation in this sphere and the draft Memorandum of Understanding of GUAM member states in the field of cyber security is currently being elaborated. The Memorandum will be signed by representatives of GUAM member states upon approval by the respective Parties.
