On 17-18 May 2011 in GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv 6th Meeting of Working Sub-Group on Combating Terrorism (WGSCT) was held under the Azerbaijani chairmanship.
Delegations exchanged views on development of regional cooperation in combating terrorism on bilateral and multilateral levels. During the Meeting a course of fulfillment of the GUAM Cryptographic Protection Information Project was considered.
WGSCT noted an importance of development of cooperation in counteraction to cyber-terrorism and cyber crime, as well as to technogenic terrorism, in particular, in view of preparations to the Eurovision in Azerbaijan (May 2012), UEFA European Football Championship in Ukraine (June 2012) and other mass events in GUAM member states.
Following the outcomes of Meeting Protocol was signed.
Next WGSCT Meeting is scheduled on October 2011.
